Syntax Highlighter Help
Your Text
Choose from the Language selector to specify the language that your text is based on (e.g. Python, TypeScript, etc.)
When the user clicks theExamples button a popover will appear with a selection of multiple language buttons. Each language button is an example of a named language. When you click one of the language buttons, the Language selector will be set to the appropriate language and the Text Area box will be populated with example text for that language.
You can start again by clicking the Clear button which will reset the Language selector and clear the Text Area box.
Now you are ready to paste, or type, your own text in the Text Area box.
Highlighted (colorized) text
When there is text in the Text Area box above, this area will have a duplicate of that text.
When the Language selector is set to a language this text will be colorized accordingly.
The colorization will depend on what language you have chosen from the Language selector.
When you are satisfied with the highlighted output, you can export the colored text as a JPEG or PNG image file. Click the Save as JPEG or or Save as PNG as required. Click the Save as HTML to export a .html file or the colorized result.
