Click on the button to share this tool with others.

Please choose between the two methods of image capture.

You can either drop an image file onto the centre of the page or click the Upload Image button and choose your image file from the dialog.

After doing the above, you should now see the uploaded image.

To use your device's camera you will need to give permission to use camera.

After setting the correct permission to use the device's camera, you should see an active image from the camera.

Click the button and you should then see a photo image taken by your device.

Now that you can see your image, you can click anywhere on the image to get a spot color reading which will appear at the bottom showing the color and hex value for that color.

The point on the image where the spot color is based will be marked by the crosshair.

Users should be away that because most device do not have high spec cameras and displays, the color output will not be at an industrial standard and should only be used as a guide.

Click the button to show a panel on the right which will give you a larger area in the chosen color.

Click the button and the Color Picker tool will be loaded with the current color.

Click the button to copy the hex code to the clipboard.

If you change your mind and want to use another image you can click the button.
