Introduction
We hope to give you a brief insight into this fantastic, and free, web app. This web app was founded and is developed by Futoro Ltd. Trading in the United Kingdom.
What?
futools is a free to use set of tools for anyone to use. They include tools that could be used by web developers, programmers, mathematicians, scientist, and the general public.
We are always trying to add to our selection of tools and continuously update our current tools.
We have special features on this site, that maybe you haven't realised? Did you know that if you log in you can bookmark your favourite tools so they show up at the top of the left hand tool list. That way, should you need to use them quickly they will be easy to find.
You can log in, if you have't already, by clicking the
icon button in the top right of the web app. You will go to the ‘Sign in’ page and see multiple providers, e.g. Github, Google, etc. Log in with the provider you prefer by clicking on the relevant button.
Why?
People may wonder why this web app and these tools exist, why did westart all this? This is due to the frustration the developers felt. In order to use a tool to do something fairly simple, an individual has to hunt high and low to find a tool. When they want to use another tool, they would need to start the whole hunting process all over again.
Often the site that host a tool has some sort of catch to it, like having to sign up, or get the results with an email link. Sometimes, as well as adding an unnecessary delay to what should be a simple task, this can really be cumbersome.
So we wanted to create a one stop place that has as many tools all together that anyone can use without any irritating catch.
How?
Most of the tools are loaded into the frontend and henceforth run in the user's browser. This means that the resources used by these tools are mainly on the clients systems and therefore not a burden on the resources of the hosting server. This helps us with keeping costs down and using our resources on providing you with more.
Who?
We are a very small team with many, many years of code development knowledge, but we would have struggled without the great work of others.
We built this web app by standing on the shoulders of giants. So we want to give credit where credit is due.
... and other technologies that we want to give a shout out, but wecannot find an icon, include (in alphabetical order):
We apologise to anyone we have missed 🤔.
